Description

In addition to the archives, this historical institute has a library with two study rooms, which are very popular among students and researchers. The Institute offers a rich programme of exhibitions, book presentations, documentary and film projections, meetings with authors, conferences and many other activities. Inside the Institute, historical archives and series of ancient books of immeasurable value are preserved. It specializes in contemporary history: First and Second World War, Italian and European fascism, anti-fascism, Liberation war, post-war, reconstruction, the Italian Republic, up to the present day.

A certificated lift is available at number 16/a in via Sant’Isaia (please, ring and request the intervention of an operator). It is advisable to get help from an accompanying person at the entrance. Once on the Institute floor, accessibility is total.
