Le serre dei Giardini dei Giardini Margherita
Description
These ancient municipal greenhouses are located within the Giardini Margherita parks and managed by the Kilowatt association which has created a “metropolitan hub for innovation and the promotion of entrepreneurial culture”. Open in summer and winter, at the Serre it is possible to co-work; there you can find the Kw Baby – a service addressed to children -, the gARTen community that attends to the garden, and the Gabbia del Leone, where events are organized.
The Serre are accessible; there is some gravel, but the wheelchair does not sink. For those who push the wheelchair, it takes a little strength but not too much. There is also an accessible toilet. The only drawback: it is not always spotless.
