Description
The Museum of Modern Art of Bologna is the seat of the Bologna Museums Institution dedicated to modern and contemporary art. It is located in the area of the city originally used for production and commercial activities, in the spaces of the former bread bakery. The museum recalls the history of Italian art from the Second World War to the present days and explores the present by promoting research and experimentation in contemporary art. Since 2012 it has hosted the Museo Morandi in its premises. There is also a large cafeteria and the beautiful Corraini bookshop.
The museum is fully accessible with a compliant lift and toilet in accordance with the regulations; only the counter at the entrance is quite high.
