Pilastro – San Donato hike
Description
This recommended route starts from via del Pilastro, passes through the Arboreto Park, comes out on via San Donato, and then takes you back to the city centre. We recommend you follow the cycle/pedestrian path. Although there are very low steps, the cycle and pedestrian path allows you to cut through the San Donato district and visit this most popular area, where you can find everything you need: gas stations, greengrocers, supermarkets and mini-markets. There is also the Galvani scientific high school, as well as a park where you can stop before crossing the San Donato bridge, the major road connecting with the centre; if you always go straight, it will take you to Porta San Donato and via Irnerio, a few steps away from the university area.
